We are honored to have Dr. Scott William Sunquist as our guest speaker. Sunquist is President and Professor of Missiology at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Dr. Sunquist assumed the presidency on July 1, 2019. His main interests lie in Christian mission, evangelism, and world Christian history. He has written in the areas of mission theology, pluralism, and Asian Christianity, and at present focuses his research and writing on historiography, missiology, and Christianity in the non-Western world. You can learn more about his vast experience as a missionary and educator at his profile page. Dr. Sunquist is married to Nancy Sunquist. They have four adult children and twelve grandchildren.
Dr. Sunquist will speak on “Lessons from the Ancient East for the Modern West” during our breakfast. Then at 11:00, join us for worship. Dr. Sunquist will deliver the sermon on John 17:18-23: "Jesus, the Missionary of God."
