Who we are
At Westminster, we about one thing more than anything else: Jesus Christ. Westminster is a family of individuals who have found life in Jesus and want to share that life with others.
Where we come from
Westminster Presbyterian Church was started in 1952 in the chapel of Queens College. What started as a small group of people from the First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Charlotte began to grow into a sizeable congregation. Under the leadership of Dr. Howard Chadwick, Westminster built a sanctuary on the corner of Colville and Randolph where we worship to this day.
Where we're headed
What's the bottom line? More than ever, Westminster is committed to life. In fact, our mission is to invite people to life in Christ... lived together... for the sake of others. In doing this we can experience life in all its fullness as a family of God.
