Third Third

God invites each of us into His life in Christ, no matter our age. The vision of our Third Third ministry is to engage, encourage, and equip (E³) covenant partners of Westminster who are in, or entering into the “third season” of life (60+ years). My prayer is that this ministry would foster fellowship and community to those who participate, and that through learning together and from one another, we might continue to experience full, fruitful, and faithful lives as we respond to God’s call on our lives.

Dear Third Third Friends,

My prayer for each of us is that we are able to make space to experience a time of wonder during this Advent season. One of my favorite Advent refrains has these song lyrics, “While we are waiting, Come. While we are waiting, Come. Lord Jesus Christ Emmanuel, while we are waiting...Come. As we anticipate the birth of Jesus in God’s Story, may we participate in His presence among us in ways known and unknown.

I look forward to our next gathering on Sunday December 15 at 5:00 pm at my home at 1957 Sterling Road for at time of fellowship and conversation. Would you be so kind as to bring a snack to share with others? As well, I will have a basket by the front door for gift cards (Visa, Grocery, Walmart-with dollar amount noted) for those in our Westminster community who are in need as well as for those in our wider community who are suffering great loss to the recent hurricanes. We have each been blessed to be a blessing to others. Thank you.
