Holy Week began with Palm Sunday, as we celebrated our Lord's entry into Jerusalem. His triumph over the world's sin and darkness will take the form of the Cross, so we allowed our hearts to enter into this deep mystery during our Thursday and Friday services. On Easter Sunday, we praise God for the sure hope of new life through his resurrection from the grave!
We will have two services for Easter Sunday. Childcare will be available for all Holy Week and Easter services.
The custom of bringing flowers for the cross is a symbol of our faith in the Cross that brings new life. Place them around our cross at the steps of the main entrance on Easter Sunday.
Easter Garden Blessings
Thank you for the tremendous response to our Easter Garden Blessings campaign, where contributions were given either in memoriam or in honorem for a loved one. The money will be used to maintain and enhance our natural spaces at Westminster. You can see the names here:
