Women's Evening Bible Study

Join other women of the church once a month for a time of study and fellowship.

WEBS for July

For their next meeting...

Hello ladies!

I hope this finds you all well in the midst of this summer heat. I know schedules are all over the place, but we would LOVE to see those of you who can join us next Tuesday, July 23rd at Laura Parrott's home/pool (2505 Forest Drive, Charlotte, NC).

If you'd like to join for a 30 minute water aerobics class led by our very own Phillis Robertson, come on over at 7pm! Bring a noodle if you have one (we'll have a few extra). If you just want to come to swim and/or socialize, all are welcome at 7:30pm. We'll have some beverages and snacks for anyone interested.

Please RSVP for when you think you'll join so we can make sure to keep an eye out for you! You can email me or text me (703-967-6994). And as always, feel free to come even if you don't RSVP.

Happy Summer!

Helen

What is it?

The Women's Evening Bible Study (WEBS for short) is a time for women of the church to gather and study God's word. Whether you're a long-time member of Westminster or you're just visiting for the first time, there is a place for you here! The goal of WEBS is to provide a place for women to come as they are, connect with each other, and grow deeper in their faith. They are excited to start this year with a study on the Sermon on the Mount using the Bible Project podcast. This study is full of great historical context as well as LOTS of great discussion on application in our daily lives.

WEBS typically meets on the third Tuesday of every month from 7:30-9:00 p.m. They will meet at a participant's house. Join their contact list to stay up to date on the house location.

If you would like to be added to the WEBS contact list or have any questions, you can contact Helen Kernodle (helenhutch@gmail.com), Laura Parrott (laura.montgomery@gmail.com), or Alice Brafford (alicebrafford@gmail.com).

In the video below, you can watch Jen Wilkin discuss, "Why Do We Read the Bible?"
